“The burned areas in Greece sum up to 11,204.6 ha this fire season up until now, according to data from the National Observatory of Forest Fires (NOFFi). The largest wildfires this year were the ones in Oropos, Kythira, Zante and East Mani. At European level, the total area burned is much higher than the average of the last decade.”
