The National Observatory of Forest Fires (NOFFi) and the potential use of its products and services in the Balkan region were presented at the 2016 GOFC-GOLD Fire Implementation Team meeting that will take place in Santiago, Chile, on the 15th of November 2016.

The purpose of the GOFC-GOLD Fire IT meeting was to review the current progress, recent developments and future prospects of satellite based fire monitoring and science for forest/natural resource management and other applications.
