The 4th interim technical report of the NOFFi project describes the activities conducted from July to December 2015.
More specifically, during this period the following were conducted:
- Completion of the fuel types map and its accuracy assessment using the LUCAS (Land Use and Cover Area frame Survey) field dataset
- Implementation of the alpha version of the burned area mapping software
- Determination of the methodology that will be used for developing the midterm forest fire risk index
- Finalization of the project’s WebGIS and interactive webpage
