The 1st interim technical report of the NOFFi project describes the activities conducted for March to June 2014.
More specifically, during this period the following were conducted:
- Geometric correction of the satellite images that will be used for forest fuel type mapping
- Development of a preliminary interface for burned area mapping
- Literature review and initial contacts for the development of an operational forest fire risk index
- Creation of NOFFi’s logo and signboard
